Bachie fans can't cope with Shannon's 'drunken' exit
Bachelor fans have branded last night’s episode “hard to watch”, after Shannon made an emotional goodbye speech to Nick Cummins, sparking suspicions she may have been under the influence.
Nick, aka the Honey Badger, surprised Australia when he sent the car care consultant home, as she’d been a firm fave from the start.
But no-one it seems was more shocked that her, and as Nick walked her out to the infamous car of doom, she let him know exactly how she felt.
“You haven’t got to know me,” she told him. “I was hanging onto sh*t, man. You should have given it another day. We would have made a great couple.”
“I’m obviously not the one,” she continued. “But I can assure you, a girl in there is gonna fulfil every little nook and cranny that you need.”
While her heartfelt speech is undoubtedly moving, it has sparked concern among viewers who thought she only made it because she appeared “drunk”.
Hands up who has been in Shannon's position where if a guy/girl would only just take the time to get to know you and see your potential as a partner. This one was hard to watch 😩 #TheBachelorAU pic.twitter.com/qu9w9BbBfn

Despite many finding the whole thing uncomfortable, Shannon says the assumption she was drunk is “unfair”.
“I think that’s really unfair because people deal with their emotions in different ways,” she tells Be.
“I was honestly wearing my heart on my sleeve. There was no control over my emotions at that point.
“That’s literally the best cry I’ve ever had. It was well needed. I didn’t even think about what I was saying… it’s true emotion and true feelings.”
Be has contacted Channel Ten for comment.
