Donald Trump might have won Super Tuesday, but he’s clearly struggling when it comes to the beauty department.

The President wannabe reportedly tried to get a perfume named after him a decade ago (who even was he back then?) but was turned down by L’Oreal, who said they preferred to work with, you know, actual people.

“Trump wanted us to make a perfume for him, but we didn’t,” said L'Oreal chairman Jean-Paul Agonsaid. “L'Oreal preferred to focus on perfumes under the licence of prestigious fashion brands such as Giorgo Armani, Ralph Lauren or Yves Saint Laurent.”

Undeterred by this, Trump instead paid approached Estee Lauder, who produced ‘Donald Trump, The Fragrance’ in 2004, followed by ‘Success’ in 2012 and ‘Empire’ in 2015.

But his luck ran out last year when Macy’s dropped Trump-branded merchandise after he threatened to build a wall “to keep the Mexicans out of America” if he became President.

Unfortunately, Trump managed to win seven of 11 states on Super Tuesday, meaning he’s likely to become the Republican candidate in the upcoming US presidential election.

He's certainly not the first world leader to try and nab a perfume deal though - Putin also has his own scent titled 'Leader', which undoubtedly fails to deliver on its tagline, 'unite'.
