Zayn Malik cuts off his beard, internet freaks out
When it comes to celebrities, there’s not much they can’t do that won’t spark a media frenzy or stir some kind of reaction from their loyal fans.
However, it’s not every day that a man’s shaving habits causes this kind of a strong reaction from folks around the world — unless you’re Zayn Malik, of course.

Malik, who has had a beard for pretty much the entirety of his career, just shaved off his facial hair, leaving only a tiny soul patch in its place.
He shared his new fresh-faced look via Instagram on Thursday without a caption, causing hysteria among his 14.9 million followers.
Unsurprisingly, the Internet had some really strong (and super-polarizing) opinions about his new look. “You are trying to kill me !! You are soooo cute,” said one commenter, with another commenting on the photo with, “The most beautiful man.” Twitter users also joined in on the action:

Between his departure from One Direction last year and his budding romance with supermodel Gigi Hadid, Zayn has been the center of media attention for some time now. Whether he will keep his clean-shaven look is yet to be decided, so fans will have to wait it out to know for sure.
