The reality star's hairstylist, Andrew Fitzsimons, who has also been the man behind the hair of Ashley Graham, Joan Smalls, and Hailey Baldwin, took to her blog, kourtneykardashian.com, to reveal he uses an avocado concoction on her locks.

The mask is made by mixing one-and-a-half avocados, two tablespoons of olive oil, two tablespoons of Manuka honey, and the juice of half a lemon.

Then you blend the ingredients together until it's smooth and let it sit for 45 minutes so it forms into a mask you can apply to your hair.

“I was intrigued by the smoothies that she was drinking, and I created a hair smoothie, an avocado hair smoothie,” Fitzsimons said.

"It’s a natural detangler.”

Avocado has long been hailed as a natural hair remedy and it's used in a wide range of products to moisturise the scalp, while lemon acts as an antibacterial agent, which is great for anyone with dandruff.

If you use hot irons or are susceptible to breakage and brittleness an avocado mask can help the strength of the strands and work to prevent further damage.

The fleshy fruit is also rich in omega fatty acid which are essential for giving you hair that thick, gleaming look we all want.
