Kylie Jenner's lipkits just set a new record

Kylie Jenner's new lip kits have sold out in "eight minutes".

The 18-year-old entrepreneur - who built her beauty empire Kylie Cosmetics over two years - has recently expanded her ever-growing make-up line and launched two new matte lip kits Kristen and Maliboo to her e-store on Wednesday, which sold out in under 10 minutes.

The brunette beauty's rapid sell-out was announced via her company's Instagram account with a picture of a batch of the new products alongside the caption: "Kristen & Maliboo sold out in 8 minutes! Wow thank you! Don't worry if you missed out we are restocking them on Friday along with GINGER @ 2.30pm xoxo (sic)."

The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star revealed the upcoming additions to her label, which consists of matte lip liner and lip stick duos, as well as individual items, lip glosses, and metallic colours, via social media.

Kylie personally showcased each new shade and posted the three lip kits she sampled on the brand's Instagram account.

She wrote: "KRISTEN. I fell in love with this beautiful strawberry matte! Launching July 20th @ 3pm.#newshadealert #SummerSurprises

"MALIBOO. I love this cool tone nude that stands out strongly from the other nudes in my collection. Launching July 20th @ 3pm.#newshadealert #SummerSurprises

"GINGER. This color will go down as one of my favorites! Launching July 22nd. 2 days after MALIBOO & KRISTEN. #newshadealert#SummerSurprises (sic)."

Meanwhile, the beauty mogul has revealed Kristen was named after her mother Kris, which is also Kylie's middle name.

Speaking previously, she said: "Kristen! Named after@krisjenner and coming to KylieCosmetics.com on July 20 (sic)."

And the 60-year-old momager feels "honoured" to have a lip kit titled after her.
