Kylie Jenner accused of copying NZ blogger's eyeshadow palette

Kylie Jenner has been accused of copying her new KyShadow palette design from a New Zealand blogger.

While everyone and their mother were scrambling over themselves to snap-up one of Kylie's eyeshadow palettes on Wednesday, New Zealand blogger Shannon ‘Shaaanxo’, who has 1.3 million followers on Instagram and has her own make-up line, was not impressed with the youngest Jenner sister's latest foray into the beauty world.

Shannon posted a picture to her Twitter page showing the two palettes side-by-side, showing off the similarities between not only the packaging but also the shades of the eyeshadows.

The Twittersphere quickly reacted to Shannon accusing the 18-year-old TV royalty of copying her designs, with many backing Jenner, claiming Shannon didn't come up with the idea of a bronze palette with white packaging, while others saw the striking similarities almost instantly.

"Wait, what," one Twitter user said, alongside a snap of both palettes.

"That's what I thought immediately. Yours is still better," another person said.

However many were quick to point out that there are hundreds of bronze palettes on the market and wondered why was only drawing similarities with Kylie's.

"Are you serious?? honey she doesn't even know you exist. She didn't copy you," one Twitter user said.

"But literally every natural bronzed eyeshadow palette looks like this," another said.

"When did you invent Bronze colors and white boxes?" another Kylie fan said.

Meanwhile Kylie Jenner's KyShadow palette sold out in one minute when it went on sale on Wednesday.

The brunette beauty announced the news via her Instagram account with a picture of the nine shades alongside the caption: "OMGGGGGG my kyshadow palette sold out in 1 minute!!!!! This is crazy!!! Thank you thank you!!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry to disappoint anyone that couldn't get it."

Speaking in a Snapchat video, she said: "I'm the happiest girl alive."

The teen entrepreneur announced the news she was set to expand her make-up line on Monday.

The television personality - who is currently dating 'Rack City' rapper Tyga - announced the news via her official website thekyliejenner.com and social media accounts. She wrote: "Surprise, I'm launching a Kyshadow palette I've been working on this for months and I'm so excited to finally reveal the big news to you guys. (sic)"

Kylie explained that before launching the latest product in her cosmetics range, she spent a day learning about how it would be made and subsequently posted the video on her Facebook page.
