Are you guilty of this Sephora faux pas?

If you're anything like us, we can't step foot inside the doors of Sephora without leaving 20 minutes later with our purses feeling a lot lighter.

The massive store is filled with every beauty essential possible, including free samples of perfume, nail polish, foundation, mascara, hand creams and so much more.

However, while we're suckers for trying out a product and being sold on buying it within minutes, it seems that there are others who simply see the store as a beauty pit-stop, complete with bright lights and mirrors.

Sephora is a Mecca for make-up lovers.
Sephora is a Mecca for make-up lovers.

According to The Wall Street Journal there is a new level of 'make-up moochers ' out there, who are taking the nature of Sephora's business model to a whole new level.

They come into the store to "freshen up" and treat it like an extension of their own bathrooms at home.

According to the report, there are some shameless women who will even go to the extent of bringing their own makeup brushes and setting up their own counter to give themselves a makeover.

Others apparently have no shame in giving themselves full-on manicures, "with two coats and a top coat if it’s available."

There are even some people who stop-by the store on the way to work to give themselves a sprucing up before their day starts.

The article also reports that one women actually goes to her local Sephora store to do full-blown makeovers on her friends.

According to Dymin Hayes, the woman uses all high-end products.

"She recently performed a full-face makeover at the Ulta store in Carbondale, Ill. The regimen included Becca foundation, Laura Geller highlighter and Anastasia Beverly Hills eyebrow enhancers. If purchased individually, the products would have cost more than $100. Store salespeople didn’t seem to mind," she told The Wall Street Journal.

And while free make-up samples are a girls' best friend, a doctor who spoke in the report said women should avoid sharing mascara as you are highly likely to get conjunctivitis if it's passed around.

We think we'll fork out the money and avoid the eye infection thank you very much.
