The simple way Kim Kardashian's make-up artist cleans all his brushes

We've all heard of the bacteria that lies on our make-up brushes and how using them over-and-over again can cause acne and fugal infections, yet still it seems like a massive chore to wash them.

When you actually think about it, it's pretty gross how often we use the brushes on our face and never run them under a tap. I mean would we do the same with our hair or body products? We think not.

While we would have expected some ridiculously expensive cleanser sprays or an intricate brush cleaning contraption, it turns out Mario steralises his make-up tools using nothing more than baby shampoo and tea-tree oil.

Mario posted a pretty overwhelming picture to his Snapchat showing his massive army of make-up brushes, alongside a bottle of tea-tree oil and some Johnson's Baby Shampoo.

And while we may have already heard of using mild baby shampoo to make your make-up brushes pristine, we've never even thought of adding a drop of tea-tea oil to the mix.

However, just like his make-up skills, Mario's brush cleaning secrets are genius too, as tea-tree oil is known to kill bacteria and fight off acne-breeding fungus.

And best of all, Mario's new brush hack may have just inspired us actually clean our stash of brushes tonight just to try out his new method. Hooray for a wild Wednesday night!
