Blogger uses lubricant and female itching medication as make-up primer

Beauty bloggers will try anything these days.

Just last week one thrifty blogger showed us how to get glowing hair with beer, oil and eggs and another make-up fanatic has even showed us how to curl our locks using Cheetos.

And now YouTuber Huda Kattan has tried out a very different mixture of products, including lubricant, Vagisil and milk of magnesia, to see if they're any good as make-up primers.

Primers can help to smooth out uneven skintones and give you a flawless make-up application, so obviously we were curious as to whether the three unusual products would actually work.

Huda tried on each product on a different area of her face to see how it felt on the skin and if it would lead her make-up to stay put for the whole day.

The much-loved blogger started off with the lubricant, applying it to her cheekbones in a sweeping movement.

She said it felt "really soothing but not very hydrating" and thought it would be good for people with oily skin but when she applied jher make-up over it, the lubricant turned flaky, making it almost look as if he skin was crumbling.

When she applied the milk of magnesia, Huda noticed that while it initially felt hydrating, it began to settle and started to get tacky.

After applying her make-up, she noted that it was almost like a face mask on her face which was ready to be washed off.

Next up was the Vagisil, which is a female medication product aimed at stopping itching and discomfort in women's private areas

"This actually feels really good going on. It feels creamy it feels really soothing. I actually like this cream", she said.

In the end, it was the Vagisil that won the contest, but we think we'll be sticking to make-up counter primers for now.
