Woman rubs a mask made out of chilli all over her face to get a glowing complexion

This beauty blogger has shunned the 100 layers challenge that's been flooding the internet these days, sidetracking it and shooting straight to the most bizarre face mask we think we've ever seen.

Rochelle Wickramasuriya, from Sri Lanka, has uploaded a video to her Instagram page, which shows her rubbing a homemade concoction of cayenne pepper, chilli, milk, honey and cinnamon into her face.

Despite the fact that many may think your skin would burn by loading it with such ingredients, according to the young vlogger, the combination of chilli and cayenne pepper actually tightens pores, makes skin glow and reduces wrinkles.

Wickramasuriya, who also goes by the name Roche, adds 1/2 Cups of whole milk (enough to make 1.5 tbsp) with 1 tbsp of lemon juice pinch cayenne pepper (increase up to 1/3 tsp upon testing. I've added 1/3tsp) 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder and 1/2 tsp of honey.

"Add lemon juice to milk just before it reaches boiling point," she says.

"Once curdled, seperate the milk fat and whip it until it becomes smooth in texture.

"Leave in fridge to chill. Alternatively cottage cheese, yoghurt or curd can be used to substitute milk fat.

"Mix cayenne pepper, cinnamon, honey with the milk fat. Apply all over face avoiding the eyes and other sensitive areas.

"Leave it on for 30-45 mins until it dries. Wash it off and VOILA! Glowing skin!"

The blogger, who showed no discomfort throughout the video said the mask "Instantly adds a glow to the skin, brightens skin, tightens skin and stimulates blood flow".

"The main ingredient, cayenne pepper, which is enriched in Vitamins and antioxidants increases collagen production and also helps reduce/prevent wrinkles, acne scars and pigmentation. Its anti inflammatory properties also helps tackle acne and scarring," she said.
