Bizarre love triangle outed live on air, or was it?
If you can watch this news report with a straight face then you’re better than all of us.
A video of what appears to be nothing but a normal news report has gone viral on Facebook. And if you listen closely you’ll realise why.
News station KMTV was reporting on how weather ‘didn’t dampen the spirits’ of the fans at a college game in Omaha.
But it’s the interview with fan Terry Powell that has left millions scratching their heads.
“The sacrifices that we personally made to be here are incredible,” he said.
Sounds pretty lovely so far.
“My wife’s boyfriend sold his prosthetic leg on Craigslist to afford me the opportunity to be here,” he went on.
“But… they get alone time and I get a chance to be in Omaha.”
Sorry, what now?
Terry says this with such as straight face we don’t know what to think. And the news report continues as if nothing strange happened at all.
So either Terry just outed his bizarre love triangle live on air, or he just did the best job at trolling the poor reporter doing the interview.
The footage was posted to Facebook by Mike Henson.
“This is fantastic, he trolled kmtv,” Mike said in the post.
It’s since been viewed 1.6 million times with 24,000 shares and almost 5,000 comments.
“I cant believe he held a straight face,” was one comment.
“This is one of the greatest interviews I’ve ever seen,” another said.
But then one person claims he was in fact telling the truth.
“Y’all laughing on here but the reason he kept a straight face is because he’s telling the truth. I bought the prosthetic,” he commented, even sharing a photo of an old prosthetic.
