Blue or black? Meghan's dress causes confusion
While Meghan Markle stunned in a bespoke dress during an appearance with the royal family, it was the colour of her outfit that has caused some confusion online.
Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, and the Duchess of Sussex helped celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Royal Air Force.
Prince William formerly served as an RAF search-and-rescue pilot, while Prince Harry received helicopter training from the RAF during his time in the Army Air Corps.
The royal brothers wore their military uniforms, Kate wore an icy mint Alexander McQueen coat, and Meghan stunned in a bespoke Dior dress featuring her go-to bateau neckline.
She paired the dress with a matching fascinator by Stephen Jones, gold-and-diamond Cartier earrings, and nude heels.
But while many media outlets reported the Duchess as wearing a ‘little black dress’, or a ‘black dress reminiscent of her wedding gown’, people were quick to point out they thought the dress was actually a dark navy.

Editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine Ingrid Seward confirmed the dress was navy and not black.
“I think it looks very smart. She’s thought navy and Air Force and it’s very smart,” she told Fabulous Online.
“I’m sure she is trying to create a style of her own and it’s working – it’s her neckline. I think it will become known as ‘the Meghan neckline’.
“Navy looks very smart and in it she can’t go wrong.”
