Boy George loses his temper with contestant on The Voice
Boy George is extremely well-known for rocking the various hats he does, but perhaps it may be to cover his hot head.
The 56-year-old is no stranger to having a few tiffs here and there on The Voice, and it seems he recently lost his temper with a contestant on the show.
During last night’s episode, Boy George snapped at contestant Sheldon Riley, accusing him of somewhat imitating Grammy award-winning singer Sam Smith.
Sheldon explained to the judge he was just trying to take his performance “somewhere”, which is when he was immediately shut down by Boy George.
“No. You don’t,” he snapped. “You do not need to take it somewhere. You need to make an investment emotionally.
“There’s a little touch of Sam Smith in your performance and you need to watch that as well.”
The 19-year-old didn’t understand what his coach meant by his comparisons.
“You sound a lot like him and I think that’s deliberate,” Boy George said.
In a later piece-to-camera, the judge clarified his comments explaining the teen singer needed to find out what his own sound is.
Let’s face it, The Voice wouldn’t be complete without a sass moment from good ol’ Boy George.
