Bride hilariously trolled by ex after wedding invite

Inviting an ex-boyfriend to your wedding might be the absolute last thing you would want to do, but one ex-couple have shown that it can totally work.

A bride has shared how her ex hilariously trolled her, when he sent back his RSVP after being invited to her wedding.

Hayley Stamper, from the US, laughed so hard at his cheeky response that she had to share it on Twitter.

He gladly accepts her response, but under the song request section titled ‘I promise to dance if you play’ he selected ‘I loved her first’ by Heartland.

The tweet has since had almost 104,000 likes and 15,000 retweets.

Now you might be thinking – why on earth would you invite an ex to your wedding?

Of course, Prince Harry did it, but he’s a prince that had a TV audience of 50 million around the world.

But Hayley quickly explained why, saying that the break-up was over five years ago.

“Not every breakup has to have a traumatic ending, thus we’re still friends who can laugh and joke around,” she wrote. “If my fiancé and ex can laugh at this tweet, you should too.

“Also keep in mind that we invited over 600 people to our wedding.

“My ex and my fiancé have a lot of the same friends so it’s really not awkward. I feel lucky to have at least one ex that we both can still remain friends with.”

She explains her fiancé and her ex went to the same high school and played football together for four years.

Plenty of people sung her praises, calling her ‘mature’.

Some decided to get in on the joke and suggested their own songs.

Now, while the song is actually meant to refer to a father singing about his daughter, it was still a great call that we can appreciate.

So will they actually dance together?
