Bride slammed over bizarre reason she wants to dump her bridesmaid

A bride has been slammed for asking the internet if she should uninvite her bridesmaid from her wedding because she died her hair pink.

The woman, who goes by the name ‘elcarmen’ on Mumsnet, faced serious backlash from commenters, who couldn’t understand why she would get so riled-up by something so trivial.

“My bridesmaid has dyed her hair this week a horrible pink colour and I am getting married next Saturday,” the bride started the post.

“Am I being unreasonable to ask her to dye it back or uninvite her from the wedding?”

She went on, claiming that her bridesmaid is ‘incredibly self-centered and always wants the attention to be focused on herself’.

The bride also said that she thinks the bridesmaid dyed her hair that colour just so she sticks out in the wedding photos.

People were quick to ask the bride why she would ask someone she thinks is ‘self-centered’ to be her bridesmaid in the first place.

“Why did you ask a woman you obviously dislike to be your bridesmaid?” one commenter wrote.

“I think pink is a lovely hair colour. If you are that pathetic to worry about your bridesmaid hair colour then get rid of her as a bridesmaid else deal with it! Simple,” another person said.

Others suggested the bride one-up her bridesmaid and dye her hair pink so they’ll match, or dye her hair gold and wear a black wedding dress.

Another person said to ask the photographer to only take black and white photos or tell the hairdressed to put a big hairband on the bridesmaid’s head so her hair isn’t visible.
