Bridezilla demands her bridesmaid gets a boob job
There have been plenty of outrageous demands made by overbearing brides in the past, but this one takes the cake.
There are stories almost every day of brides asking their bridesmaids to dye their hair, cut their hair or lose weight before the big day.
But asking your friend to undergo cosmetic surgery? Surely that’s taking things a little too far.
Taking to confession’s website Whisper, one bridesmaid has revealed she was asked to have a breast reduction so she would ‘fit in’ with the rest of the bridal party.
Yes you read that right. Apparently the woman is gifted with ample assets, unlike the rest of the bridal party.
Sharing the ridiculous request the anonymous bridesmaid wrote “To get a breast reduction so my chest would fit in the same dress as the rest of itty bitty titty committee”.
On the same site other bridesmaids also chimed in with things that have been asked of them in the past.
One person wrote that the bridal party were given eye drops so they could ‘cry’ on demand after the vows are read.
Another woman, who had shaved her hair for charity, was told she would need to wear a wig as it was ‘for the best’.
Last year, another bride made headlines for wanting to ban her future sister-in-law from wearing glasses to her own brother’s wedding.
Taking to Reddit in July, the woman — who will be a bridesmaid at the wedding — explained that she had been asked by the bride-to-be to go without her glasses for the duration of the ceremony as well as the wedding breakfast because photographs would likely be taken throughout.
“I don’t know why she thinks this is a good idea; my glasses are fashionable and I’ve been told by multiple people that I look better with them on,” she wrote.
“My vision is terrible, so I’d have to be led around everywhere. I’d never be able to find anyone if I needed them for anything.”
The same month another woman revealed how hurt and shocked she was to not only be barred from being a part of her best friend’s big day – but to find out the reason why was because of her weight.
