Can you pass the citizenship test Meghan Markle might take?

In just over two weeks time, Meghan Markle will officially join Britain’s royal family when she marries Prince Harry on May 19.

And according to reports, Meghan, who is currently an American citizen, might like to become an official Brit – but the test isn’t easy.

All would-be British citizens must pass the ‘Life in the UK’ test by successfully answering 18 out of 24 questions selected from about 3,000 facts.

Even a new House of Lords report says the test is actually a “barrier to acquiring citizenship rather than a means of creating better citizens”.

The British citizenship test was taken 125,925 times in 2016, but of those who tried, 36 per cent failed.
