Can Ali Oetjen handle being The Bachelorette?
Despite making it to the very end of Bachelor In Paradise, things didn’t work out between Ali Oetjen and her island love Grant Kemp.
But Ali hasn’t given up on love, as it was announced after the Paradise finale she’s set to be the next Bachelorette.
While we’re super happy for the 32-year-old giving love another go, we’re also not sure how she’s going to handle breaking 20+ men’s hearts in order to filter through to find ‘The One’.
Let us cast our minds back to earlier in the Bachelor In Paradise season when Ali was garnering a lot of male attention from the likes of Jarrod Woodgate, Michael Turnbull and Mackane Reid.
She found it extremely difficult to let all of them down gently after they declared their romantic feelings for her.
“Why do I have to be the one that hurts someone?” Ali said crying after she had to tell Mack she wasn’t interested in him.
Ali also admitted she felt like a “mean” and “terrible person” for letting the guys down.
Imagine having to do that over and over again on The Bachelorette.
Hopefully this has given her some practice and she’ll be ready and raring to go on another journey to find love.
