There’s only a handful of people that can spot the difference between these two images – are you one of them?
Stare at the top image for a few seconds and take it all in before looking at the next one.
Now look at the image below and see if you can spot any difference.
It may take a while.
If you couldn’t spot it, shift your focus to the right side of the image where the shadow from the rock lies over the sand.
You’ll then notice that most of the people sunbaking in that area have been edited out in the second image.
And once you see it, It’s hard to believe that you missed it in the first place, right?
However, according to psychologists, most of us actually struggle to detect changes in our surroundings.
It’s a phenomenon called change blindness. When there is too much going on, we simply can’t process it all, particularly only slight changes.
