The first Sharknado movie was so bad, it was good!

The ridiculous plot about terrifying tornadoes filled with deadly sharks became a smash hit thanks to social media (after its release it was generating an impressive 5,000 tweets a miniute!) and left a whole bunch of celebs clambering to get involved with the follow ups.

Including it seems, the current President of the United States of America, Donald Trump.

The Hollywood Reporter made the, frankly rather hilarious, revelation during an interview with the Sharknado series casting director Gerald Webb and film company owner, David Latt.

According to the report, Trump was approached about working on the low-budget, mega LOL movie, to play the President but they decided against it - much to his horror.

“We immediately heard from Trump’s lawyer,” David told the publication. “He basically said, ‘How dare you? Donald wanted to do this. We’re going to sue you! We’re going to shut the entire show down!'”

Aww, poor Trump was absolutely DEVO at not being cast in the movie.

Let's just take a moment to imagine it in all it's sharkey glory.

The shark storm would most definitely messed with/ruffled up his fabulous toupe and just think of the tweets!

In our totally professional opinion it would have been S-P-E-C-T-A-C-U-L-A-R viewing. We're not entirely sure how we'll get over this depravity.

Luckily, Be has come to your rescue and created a piece of cinematic mastery to make sure you don't lose sleep imagining what Trump looks like as a storm shark. You're welcome. Check it out above!

After all, Trump is no stranger to the big screen. He's appered in Hollywood movies, Sex and the City AND Zoolander, as well as being the big, scary businessman boss in TV show TheApprentice.
