Since blogger Lauren Mahon was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016, she has bravely documented her battle and triumph against the illness.

Her documentation through her blog Girl vs Cancer, eventually led her to creating ‘Tit-Tees’ T-shirts to raise awareness of the importance to check your breasts, but also as a means of financial support for herself, with 25 percent of the money made going to charity.

However, the 32-year-old recently discovered her most popular design, the bee tee, had been “ripped off” by UK clothing store, Miss Selfridge.

On Wednesday, Lauren took to social media to call out the clothing brand owned by Sir Philip Green’s Arcadia Group, which also runs popular high street retailer Topshop.

“Another day. Another high street rip off,” Lauren wrote on Instagram. “It’s legit copycat f***ery at it’s finest.”

She went onto explain in her post her bee tit-tee was “best selling” T-shirt and had been copied by Miss Selfridge.

“Imitation may be the best form of flattery but not this,” she said.

Lauren pointed out that the high street “may be cheaper, but it doesn’t have others at it’s heart”.

The blogger also took to Twitter to share her outrage, calling out Sir Philip and Miss Selfridge.

In response to this, many people reached out to Lauren horrified by the similarities in the tees.

On Thursday, Lauren gave an update on the situation to her followers, thanking everyone for their support and revealing Miss Selfridge had removed the bee T-shirt from their online store.

But she was “yet to have confirmation if this includes stores”.

The retailer has also offered her a donation to Girl vs Cancer, but an amount has not be confirmed yet.

“Big progress but not resolved as of yet,” she added. “Hoping to have this all sorted ASAP.”

Be have reached out to Miss Selfridge for comment.
