Carrie Bickmore welcomes Lisa Wilkinson to The Project
The Project host Carrie Bickmore has led the way in welcoming Lisa Wilkinson to the show after her shock departure from Channel Nine.
The presenter, 36, took to Twitter to share her sheer delight at getting to work with the former Today Show host.

It's not just her new co-host that is thrilled with her decision to move, with a stream of high profile celebrities and journalists all congratulating Lisa.
In a sleuth of supportive messages left on Lisa's Instagram page, The Daily Edition's Sally Obermeder and Gold Logie winning actress, Rebecca Gibney, shared their words of praise.
"Congratulations on all you've achieved," Sally, 44, wrote. "You should be so proud."
While Rebecca commended Lisa for her 25 years in the business as well as her style, talent and humour.
Other leading females who have toasted to her success include, Sunday Night's Melissa Doyle, Footy Show host Erin Molan and senior journalist for Ten, Sandra Sully.

The Australian television presenter Lisa Wilkinson announced last night she was leaving Today after 10 years over failed contract negotiations.
She will be starting her new role in the New Year, alongside co-hosts Waleed Aly and Peter Helliar.
