The Project presenter detailed her struggle with morning sickness on her Hit Network radio show Carrie & Tommy on Thursday.

“Until this week I felt so sick – 24 hours a day, like, I mean so sick,” the mother-to-be said. “I didn’t even have the energy to work out… to get my head around what was happening.”

It got to a point where literally anything and everything would make her feel sick.

“[Being] hungry made me feel sick, eating has made me feel sick, being awake has made me feel sick, sleeping has made me feel sick, coffee has made me feel sick, everything has made me feel sick,” she explained.

However, the 37-year-old has started to somewhat feel better recently.

“I’m feeling 50 per cent better, which weirdly feels like completely better,” Carrie admitted.

Whilst she was discussing her battle with morning sickness, Carrie also detailed how she managed to hide her bump on The Project.

It was down to a series of different clever outfit choices and the positioning of her chair.

“I’ve been wearing lots of jackets and jumpers, but on The Project, right, the desk crosses right across my belly and I’ve slowly been lowering my chair a tiny bit,” the radio host revealed.

Carrie announced on Thursday via Instagram she was pregnant with her third child.

The much-loved presenter recorded a sweet video with her family.

In the clip, her 11-year-old son Oliver – whom she had with her late husband Greg Lange – is seen telling younger sister Evie that the family unit is expanding.

“We’re having a baby,” he tells the three-year-old, who can’t contain her excitement.

“Mummy’s having a baby, there’s a baby in mummy’s tummy!” Carrie adds.

Jumping straight to conclusions, Evie asks if it’s twins, much to the delight of her dad Chris Walker, but Carrie is quick to clarify that there’s only one bub on the way.

She doesn’t say whether she’s expecting a baby boy or girl.

Carrie and partner Chris have been together for around six years after meeting on the set of The Project where Chris worked as a producer.
