It’s Mother’s Day and the perfect excuse for all the mums to put their feet up and be spoilt by their loves ones.
Some of Australia’s favourite celebrity mums have revealed to us exactly what they want on May 13 this year, and it’s not necessarily the usual breakfast in bed that we all speak of.
The 47-year-old The Biggest Loser trainer is looking forward to some relaxed family time with son Axel, two, and partner Steve ‘Commando’ Willis.
“I just want a big warm cuddle from my boy in bed,” she tells Be.
“That’s it, that’s all I want. It’s just him in my arms, in my bed.”
The Daily Edition host has some strict orders this Mother’s Day, she’s keen for a gift that’s just for her.
“I’d like something that is not an appliance or nothing that anyone can share with me… like a handbag or a pair of shoes,” she says.
“I want something just for me,” she laughs.
But Sally, who shares six-year-old daughter Annabelle, and one-year-old daughterElyssa with husband Marcus, says “I don’t think I’ll get it but that’s what I want”.
Fashion stylist Jules is keen for a simple one on Sunday.
“I’d love a sleep in and a cup of tea at about 9:30,” she tells Be.
Jules shares two sons, Hudson and Archer, with singer husband Guy.
She may be a stylish fashion designer, but material items are not on her wishlist this Mother’s Day.
Anthony Minichiello’s wife, who is a proud mum to four-year-old Azura, is all about family bonding.
“Just to be with my daughter and husband,” she says of her ideal Mother’s Day treat.
Beau Ryan’s wife shares a similar sentiment to Terry.
“If you were to ask me in my 20’s I would have said a Prada Bag (dreamingly),” she tells Be.
“In my 30’s, older and wiser, I truly get the most enjoyment out of waking up with Jesse, Remi and Beau all healthy and in the bed being silly, followed by having no plans but to hang out together all day.”
Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mums out there.
