The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their third child, a baby boy, into the world on Monday, 23 April 2018.

While it will certainly be a date to remember in the royal family, it’s also a date to remember for many other celebrities who now share a birthday with the new prince.

Let’s take a deep dive into which stars are lucky enough to have the same birthday as the royal bub.

Gigi Hadid

Gigi Hadid was born in 1995 recently turning 23.

In recent years the model has shot to superstardom after featuring on the covers of the likes Vogue, Elle and Harper’s Bazaar.

The model also made her first appearance as a Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2015.

John Cena

This year wrestling legend John Cena celebrated his 41st birthday.

However, it may have been less of a celebration as it was just announced he had split from fiancée Nikki Bella.

Still, sharing your birthday with an heir to the British throne is pretty cool.

Dev Patel

The new prince shares a birthday with fellow Brit Dev Patel.

The now 28-year-old rose to stardom on the UK drama Skins, then going onto win an Oscar for his role in Slumdog Millionaire.

Lady Gabriella Windsor

Whilst she may not be super well-known Lady Gabriella Windsor is the one member of the current royal family who shares a birthday with the newborn prince.

Gabriella is the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.

Prince Michael of Kent is a grandson of King George V and Queen Mary making him a paternal first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II.

William Shakespeare

Whilst he may not be alive anymore, William Shakespeare is certainly a major historical figure to share a birthday with.

The exact date of his birth remains unknown, but is celebrated on April 23 which was the date of his death in 1616.

He was born in 1564 and passed away when he was 34-years-old.
