Channel Seven reporter expecting first child with best friend
Popular Channel Seven reporter Rahni Sadler is expecting her first child at the age of 45 – and it’s all thanks to her best friend Geoff Dunn.
A former producer for the network’s Sunday Night program, Rahni left her on-air career last year to focus on becoming a mum.
After Rahni suffered serious complications from a miscarriage, followed by her marriage ending in 2009, her best friend of 20 years stepped in to help both of their ‘dreams’ come true.
“We’re so excited,” Geoff told Be.
Rahni is reportedly six months pregnant, after the pair underwent IVF treatment while in South Africa, according to News.com.au.
“We are both absolutely over the moon,” Geoff said.
“Both of us have dreamt of this for a long time, and finally we’re going to have a child. We couldn’t be happier.”
Rahni is currently working as a producer for Andrew Denton’s programme The Interview.
The baby is due in October.
Congratulations!
