Prince George's cheeky big brother move caught on camera

The world stopped and let out a collective ‘Aw!’ when they saw Prince George and Princess Charlotte happily making their way into the Lindo Wing to meet their new brother on Monday.

Looking like butter wouldn’t melt, the adorable four-year-old Prince George appeared shy as his little sister, two-year-old Princess Charlotte, skipped up the stairs to see her mum, Kate Middleton, and her younger sibling.

And while everyone was busy taking photos and gushing over how cute the royal toddlers looked, it seems we all missed a hilarious cheeky moment between the two.

In a video which has since surfaced online, the duo can be seen entering the hospital, with their dad, Prince William, by their sides.

The 35-year-old Duke of Cambridge lets go of his son and daughter’s hand and seems to pat Charlotte on the back to usher her forward.

However, eagle-eyed Twitter users have noticed that Prince George then cheekily moved towards his sister and tried to ‘flick’ her in the back of her head in a classic big brother move.

“That is definitely Prince George FLICKING the back of Princess Charlotte’s head as they enter the Lindo Wing,” one amused Twitter user wrote.

“Favourite thing today was this blink-and-you’ll miss it moment inside the hospital where George appears to flick Charlotte’s head! Typical older brother,” another person said.

Others claimed that the Prince was simply trying to also pat his sister’s back and thought it was a sweet moment between the siblings.

Their trip to St. Mary’s Hospital in London came just hours after the mum, Kate Middleton, gave birth to a beautiful baby boy.

“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs,” Kensington Palace said in a statement.

“The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.

“Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”

The royals are yet to announce the name of their third child, however Arthur, James and Louis are all in the running.
