Cher and Mariah Carey will tour Australia at the same time

Shut the front door. Mega music queens Cher and Mariah are set to tour Australia at the same time this year, and we are struggling to deal.

Can you imagine an epic battle of the divas Down Under?

That’s exactly what’s happening come October 2018, when 71-year-old Cher and 48-year-old Mariah begin playing their shows with their tour dates overlapping here and there.

But fret not. It is absolutely possible to get tickets to both of their shows.

Cher will kick off her Aussie tour late September.

She’ll begin in Newcastle on September 26, before heading up to Queensland for a Brisbane show on September 28.

Next up will be lucky Melbourne, treated to a concert at Rod Laver Arena on October 3.

The final three dates of her tour are October 9 in Adelaide, October 12 in Perth, and last but not least, October 18 in Sydney.

As for Mariah, she’ll start her tour on October 10 in Melbourne. That’s a one-week gap between the shows for the Melbournians. Hallelujah!

She’ll then be off to Sydney for an October 12 show.
