Christian Bale hits back at critic in F-word rant

Christian Bale strikes out again, this time at a film critic who bagged his work in 'The Fighter' for his 'trademark weight loss' acting.

Despite both positive and negative reviews of his role as Dicky Eklund in his latest film, 'The Fighter,' it seems Christian doesn't take kindly to the negative type.

Bale, who's known for his diva-like antics, wants to 'p*ss on the shoes' of a critic who referred to his acting as 'trademark weight loss' acting. As well as losing weight for 'The Fighter,' he lost weight for 'The Machinist' and 'Rescue Dawn.'

Bale, who notoriously had an explosive tantrum on the set of 'Terminator: Salvation' in 2009, as well as a real-life falling out with both his sister and mother, was speaking to the local edition of Empire Magazine.

Talking about his role in 'The Fighter' as the crack-addicted Dicky, he said: 'To be honest, I find it laughable that it's considered to be some f**king gimmick – it's so patronising.

'For God's sake, do people not understand what a pain it is to do? It's as though it's some comment about, 'Oh it's easy for him, because he's done it a bunch of times'.

'It's not easy, it's not fun – it's horrible.

'I don't know about you, but I've never seen a welterweight with any fat on him - or a crack-head.

'So it's just what you end up having to do.

'Somebody told me that somebody wrote something about my "trademark weight loss". I'd just like to p*** on that guy's shoes.'

Sounds like Christian is back in fighting form, literally.
