Constance Hall celebrates post-baby body

Just over a week after giving birth to her fifth child, mummy blogger Constance Hall has shared an empowering snap of her post-baby body.

Constance welcomed healthy baby boy Raja to the family on May 28th, announcing his arrival on Instagram by stating that she and her husband, Denim Cooke, ‘couldn’t have dreamt a more perfect baby’.

And just days after Raja was born, she has now uploaded a post to Instagram, referring to her postpartum body as her ‘beautiful rig that stretched to its full capacity and then stretched some more’.

Rather than worrying about losing her post-baby weight, Constance is absolutely owning it.

“The thing is that when the baby comes out comments change from ‘beautiful belly!!’ To ‘don’t worry you’ll lose that,’ But I f**king love this rig I’ve worked hard to earn it and I’m proud of it, I’m proud of anything that bought this beautiful baby into the world.” she posted.

We are going home!! In this last week we have been so well looked after by the doctors in the public health system, the kindness and patience they have shown me was second to none. But a very special mention has to be made to the midwives that have looked after us, I’ve had one shave my fanny and empathise over my ingrown hairs with me, I’ve had my hand squeezed as I cried while needles went in my back, my pad and wound constantly checked, blood clots in my wee measured and felt for texture, I’ve had a midwife sit on my bed at 3am when I couldn’t sleep and tell me her dreams and why she became a midwife. Scary and embarrassing things have felt natural and womanly this last week due to the amazing midwives. I have even had an orderly represent with her Queen T on under her scrubs. Never have I felt so well looked after or at ease amongst women I didn’t know. To all of the employees of Bunbury and Margaret River hospitals thank you so much, I put on a brave face but was extremely nervous inside and you stomped on those nerves and filled them with your professional, calm Queenliness. Off home now so that this little #notroger can be passed around like a puppy at a preschool by his whole family and I can beg my mum to move in with me. There has been some anonymous grocery shopping dropped at my house today so whoever that stealth ninja Queen is.. I salute you women. And don’t any of you forget there is just over 24 hours left of my 25% off RAJA sale, everything in my whole shop and that includes the already discounted shipping happiest of days for us all Con

The blogger also opened up to her followers about her experience in hospital, as well as thanking the midwives who looked after her during a difficult C-section experience.

“Scary and embarrassing things have felt natural and womanly this last week due to the amazing midwives,” she posted.

However, she has since made it back home with newborn Raja, whose name actually means ‘Prince’ which is fitting as she is known to her followers as ‘Queen’.
