Let’s face it chicken nuggets are great and so are doughnuts. Both are A+ comfort foods.
Now some absolute genius has combined the two to make, drum roll… the donug.
Crag Carrick, who is originally from Glasgow, Scotland and now lives in Melbourne, is hoping this will be the next food trend everyone will go nuts for.
The idea apparently came about when Crag was working as a consultant in the hospitality industry.

At the beginning of this year he was asked to work on wacky idea for a chicken nugget festival.
“I had an idea and bought some chicken from the butcher on the way home,” he told BBC News Scotland.
His wife Rachel, a chef, helped him concoct up a few recipes.
“After a few aborted attempts we came up with the Donug, then we made some sauces,” he said. “One of them is the Glasgow chicken curry.”
The couple recently snagged $100,000 investment for the Donug on Shark Tank.
Hopefully that means it’ll be all around Australia (and the rest of the world) very soon.
