Crikey! Rob Irwin mirrors late dad Steve at Logie Awards

Robert Irwin has channelled his late father Steve at this year’s Logie Awards, and turned up with a live animal in his arms.

Dressed in his Australia Zoo khakis, the 14-year-old was seen wrangling a snake on the red carpet.

Despite it’s best efforts to get away, Robert had the snake under control, and managed to keep it in his arms while filming an interview with Sunrise.

His proud mum Terri was by his side and filmed his every move from the sidelines.

Earlier in the day, Robert’s older sister Bindi took to Instagram to congratulate him ahead of his presenting gig for the Most Outstanding Children’s Program award at this year’s show.
