Dad calms nervous daughter by joining her on stage

This dad is every child’s hero after he took to the stage and improvised some ballet moves to help calm his daughter’s nerves.

In a video shared by In Motion School of Dance in Bermuda, the dad is seen joining a troupe of young dancers for their recital dress rehearsal after his two-year-old daughter Bella got stage fright and broke down in tears.

Holding his baby in one arm, and Bella’s hand in the other, he tried his best to keep up with the others and pirouetted like a champion (or at least attempted to).

“Bella was very emotional and needed hugs from her daddy,” Marc said, explaining that the toddler was preparing for her very first recital.

“I could tell she wanted to stay on stage and I didn’t want to discourage her before the big performance by making her be the only one to come off.”

Despite having his baby daughter Suri in his arms, Marc walked out on stage.

“I stood next to her, trying to help build her confidence – I told her I loved her and that she’s an amazing dancer.

“I asked if she wanted to dance with daddy and she nodded, so I thought I’d join in. I’ve practiced with them at home on many occasions so it wasn’t unfamiliar to me.”

You can see how he got on in the video above, it’s the cutest thing you’ll see all day.
