Dad caught on camera teaching little girl how to smoke

This is the shocking moment a dad was caught on camera teaching his little girl how to smoke.

The video, which can be seen above, shows the reckless dad showing the child how to puff on a cigarette in an unidentified part of Saudi Arabia.

He pushes the cigarette towards the unsuspecting child’s mouth so she can learn how to smoke.

The youngster, who appears to be just two or three-years-old, can be seen taking the cigarette in her mouth.

Neither the man or his daughter have been publicly identified.

It is unclear who filmed the clip which later appeared online, although it looks like the father himself may have shot it.

But after the footage was posted on Twitter, where it received more than 226,000 views, local authorities are said to have launched an investigation.

The public prosecution has now issued a statement saying it has a role to protect society and to hold those who break rules and laws to account.

It warned that it will do whatever it takes to preserve security and safety even if this means prosecuting parents and guardians.
