Daring Dad Carves 1,200-Pound Pumpkin for Halloween

David Freiheit got into the spirit of Halloween on the streets of Montreal, Canada, recently by carving a 1,200-pound pumpkin using a chainsaw, all while his adoring audience watched with excitement.

Speaking to Storyful, David explained: “We bought a 1,200-pound pumpkin… Last year, with our 800-pound pumpkin, I had great difficulty carving it – even with our biggest butcher knife. So this year, with a pumpkin 400 pounds bigger, we took it up to the next level; a gas-powered chainsaw! It was like cutting through pumpkin butter!” Credit: Viva Frei via Storyful
