Did Demi Lovato shade Taylor Swift at the Billboard Awards?

Taylor Swift has made a very rare awards show appearance at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards and it was not without the drama.

The Reputation singer took home two awards for ‘Top Selling Album’ and ‘Best Female Artist’, however it was during her acceptance speech for the latter that Demi Lovato threw some serious shade.

Tay spoke about her all-female Reputation tour and gave a special shout-out to her tour homies, Charli XCX and Camila Cabello.

But it was when she gave ups to ‘future female artists’ the camera panned to Demi. And she was not happy, Jan.

Could the camera have caught Demi during a particularly pensive moment? Was she thinking of something or someone else at the time?

The thing is, the two have a very complicated history and as of right now, they are definitely frenemies…

Only four years ago, the pair were pictured looking happy at the 2014 MTV Music Awards, but less than a year later, the infamous ‘Taylor’s Girl’s Squad’ happened and Demi wasn’t in it. **GASP**

It seems that Demi wasn’t impressed with Taylor for throwing $250,000 at singer Ke$ha to help with legal fees after she lost her very high profile case against Dr Luke.

Demi would have preferred Taylor take a more activist approach, instead of just handing out her millions.

So yep, case closed, Demi was definitely throwing shade and she was having absolutely NONE of Tay Tay.
