Princess Diana's handsome nephew is your new royal crush
For anyone who felt a pang of sadness as Prince Harry tied the knot with Meghan Markle, fear not! It turns out there are plenty of other aristocratic fish in the sea!
The May 19 wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was the stuff Disney dreams are made of, but it turns out many royal-watchers couldn’t keep their eyes off one particular handsome guest in attendance.
Namely, Louis Spencer, Diana’s handsome nephew and Prince William and Harry’s first cousin.
Louis, who’s full name is Louis Frederick John Spencer – AKA Viscount Althorp – is the son of Charles Spencer, who is the 9th Earl Spencer, the Queen’s godson and Princess Diana’s beloved younger brother.
Not much is known about Louis, who sadly doesn’t even have an Instagram account to creep (believe me, we looked), except that he studied at the Diocesan College in Cape Town, South Africa and later enrolled at the University of Edinburgh.
We also know that he’s 24 years old and is set to inherit his father’s title, meaning one day he’ll also be Earl Spencer.
Louis attended his cousin Harry’s wedding alongside his sisters, Lady Eliza Spencer, Lady Kitty Spencer and his mother, Victoria Aitken who divorced Charles in 1997.
Good looks obviously run in the family and Louis’s mother is a former model, and his sister, 27-year-old Kitty, has modelled in several Dolce & Gabbana campaigns.
Kitty was one of the best dressed guests at Harry and Meghan’s wedding, in an emerald-green D&G dress covered in flowers.
She teamed the dress with orange satin heels and a green fascinator designed by Philip Treacy. The elaborate headgear featured a hand-blocked teardrop veil with a hand-sculpted knot parasisal, with a feather quill and spines as well as Swarovski crystals.
