He's recently gone public with a much younger girlfriend, but has Karl Stefanovic had work done in a bid to remain youthful?

While viewers may not have noticed, the 42-year-old has undergone a "subtle hair transplant", succumbing to the "pressure" to remain youthful, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

The publication adds that the Today host underwent the procedure in an effort to stop further hair thinning on the front, with Channel Nine make-up artist and presenter Michael Brown confirming had had the same procedure and was stoked with the results.

Claims of Karl's hair transplant come after he went public with new girlfriend, 33-year-old Jasmine Yarbrough last month.

The pair were first pictured kissing on a luxury yacht on Sydney Harbour, before heading out for a Maccas run the following day in Bondi.

Things are reportedly getting so serious with the pair that the father-of-three is considering reversing the vasectomy he had six years ago in order to give his girlfriend a baby.

The TV host had the snip after he and estranged wife Cassandra Thorburn decided they were happy with their “perfect three” kids Jackson, 17, Ava, 11 and 10-year-old River.

But new love Jasmine has told Karl, that she eventually hopes to have a family of her own, Woman’s Day reported last week.

A close family friend also predicted that smitten Karl will give the Mara & Mine shoe-designer what she wants.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if Karl goes under the knife again,” the source told Woman’s Day.

Karl's new relationship comes after he and Cassandra ended their two-decade long marriage last year.
