'I don't love Jake': Megan casts doubt on Bachelor In Paradise romance

With the commitment ceremony looming, the final dates marked make or break moments for all the Bachelor In Paradise couples.

It appears Megan Marx’s date with Jake Ellis may have been a breaking moment.

As Jake declared he was falling in love with Megan, her mind was in a totally different place.

“It’s lovely to hear,” she said in a piece to camera. “But for me, I don’t love Jake. I’m not at the point where I’m going to tell him I love him because I just don’t.”

The 29-year-old later admitted she was “90% sure” she and Jake could “give it a go”, but there was a niggling 10% thinking to herself, “What’s the point?”.

Doesn’t sound promising for the commitment ceremony.

To further add to Megan’s reservations about the prospect of a relationship with Jake, she revealed another doubt in her mind was due to the lack of “intellectual conversation” she has with Jake.

To top it all off, the model also admitted she wasn’t sure about Jake’s willingness to commit to her.

Really doesn’t sound promising.

Meanwhile, Jake seemed very confident in his relationship with Megan.

“I know I’m falling in love with Megan because I’m feeling things I’ve never felt before,” the 31-year-old said. “I certainly hope I’ve alleviated Megan’s concerns.

“I feel like there’s not much more I could say. I really want it to work. I want nothing more than Megan and I to work.”

Hmmm. Still seems like this pair have a lot of talking to do.

We’ll just have to find out what their fate is tomorrow night’s finale at 7.30pm on Channel Ten.
