Ellen DeGeneres has apologised to Jenna Dewan after accidentally calling her by her married name.
Jenna was a guest on The Ellen Show when she was accidentally introduced as Jenna Dewan Tatum, just weeks after her split from Magic Mike star, Channing Tatum.
However the 60-year-old caught her error and corrected herself, before apologising profusely during her interview with Jenna who was appearing to promote the dance show she judges World of Dance alongside singing superstar Jennifer Lopez.
“I have to say, before we go to break, I’m so sorry,” Ellen said.
“I introduced you, and it was just such a habit, I have to say, the way you and Channing are handling everything, is beautiful and for your daughter and the statements have been great.”
“And I apologise, I just have known both of you for so long and I’m so used to saying [it],” she finished.
A visibly emotional Jenna took the slip-up well, while J.Lo clutched her hand.
“I know,” she said. “Thank you. And I mean honestly, thank you and everybody for all the love and the support. It’s truly so moving so thank you.”
Jennifer, who has been through the experience of divorce herself, wrapped her arm around Jenna and and pulled her in for a hug. Naww.
Jenna and Channing split after eight years of marriage.
The couple, who have four-year-old daughter Everly together, announced their split in joint posts on Instagram in April.
Not long after, Jenna revealed she would be dropping her double barrel name and going back to Jenna Dewan.
