Portia De Rossi made wife Ellen DeGeneres cry
She's the famous talk show host who puts everyone else first.
But during an episode of The Ellen Show it was all about her after she got the surprise of her life which resulted in her breaking down in tears. Watch video above.
"Okay, I'm being told their is someone else here who wants to wish me a happy birthday, I don't know who it is but come on out," Ellen said to the audience.
Her wife Portia De Rossi then appeared leaving Ellen blushing and all smiles.
The pair sat down with Portia barely able to speak she uttered, "I'm here to give you your birthday gift."
The Aussie beauty continued, "It's your 60th birthday and this gift had to be really special and it had to represent who you are and what you really care about," she said.
"Not just now, but what you've always cared about. What you were influenced by and what has made you the amazing person that you are today," she proclaimed.
"So, I combined that and questions when we first met like 'who's your idol? And what would you do if you weren't a talk show host?'".
A video was then played behind them with the audience watching on, while the video explained about the late Dian Fossey and her work and dedication to saving the animals in Africa, in particular the gorillas.
If you didn't already know, Dian is one of Ellen's idols, and grew up following the great work she did in Africa.
"So, for your birthday, Ellen," Portia expplained, "I am bringing you and your hero, Dian, together by building The Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund."
"Ellen, you will carry on Dian's legacy by giving them a permanent home in Rwanda. Now, you will join Dian as a protector and champion of these amazing animals, the mountain gorillas. Happy birthday!" she said.
The heartfelt moment left Ellen in tears and the beautiful moment was topped off with a kiss from her wife.
