Elsa Pataky has felt 'pressure' being married to Chris Hemsworth

They’ve been dubbed as one of the power couples of Hollywood, but it hasn’t always been smooth sailing for Elsa Pataky and Chris Hemsworth.

Speaking to Vogue Australia, Spanish model and actress Elsa has opened up about the ‘pressure’ she and Chris have faced since tying the knot back in 2010, and then going on to have three children.

“We did everything very quickly – I don’t know how we survived as a couple,” she tells the publication.

“We were married and then a year after we had kids.

“It puts a lot of pressure on a marriage, but we came out good because there is a lot of love between us and we are very strong personalities but love each other so much.”

Chris and Elsa married in December 2010 after a whirlwind romance, having only first met earlier that same year.

They went on to welcome daughter India Rose in 2012, and then twin sons Sasha and Tristan in 2014.

Chris has previously opened up about some of the challenges the couple have faced over the years, and how they’ve managed to work through them.

“Once you have children, every instinct and every moment of your time is consumed by that. You’ve got nothing for each other,” he told GQ Australia last year.

“So, make sure you have date night even if it’s once in a blue moon, because most of the time you’re just too tired and you’d actually prefer to sleep.”

One thing’s for sure, they are serious couple goals.
