Em Rusciano handles TV roasting like a pro
Em Rusciano has proved she’s made of incredibly tough stuff as she handled an intense roasting on Hard Talk like a total pro.
The 2DayFM host appeared on the ABC show hosted by Tom Gleeson, where he proceeded to throw shade over her “falling” ratings.
But the mum-of-two handled the insults with grace and a smile, showing Australia she’s a woman not to be messed with.
“You’re currently on breakfast radio with Grant Denyer and Ed Kavalee,” Tom says “There’s three of you in the studio. Is that more than the number of listeners you have?”
“Yes, by one,” Em joked back. “I know that we’re rating lower than in-house hospital radio and the station that reports the fishing channels.”

Tom — who has previously ripped Sophie Monk and Karl Stefanovic to shreds — then went on to suggest the shows low ratings were down to her co-hosts Grant and Ed, but Em isn’t having any of it.
“I would say I’m probably the problem because we didn’t rate last year when they weren’t there either,” she cooly responds.
While Tom may have done his research for the guest appearance, it seems he may have missed the fact the Em, Grant & Ed brekkie show climbed up 1% in the recent ratings.
Grant and Ed joined Em, 39, in January after taking over the reins from comedian Harley Breen.
Since then the trio have hit the headlines when Grant hilariously stripped in the studio, even giving a rather horrified Ed a lap dance.
Ed, 38, has also got listeners talking when he admitted he drinks his wife, Tiffny Hall’s breast milk.
