Nicole and Tom 'wary' of son's new girlfriend

Connor Cruise has two A-list parents, but it seems they don’t rate his new girlfriend as A-list quite yet.

The adopted son of Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise started dating Phylicia Bugna earlier this year, and Woman’s Day have reported that Nicole and Tom have “mixed feelings” about their son’s girlfriend.

The actors were married for 11 years and adopted two children together Isabella, now 25, and Connor, 22.

A source told the publication: “It’s no secret Nicole and Connor don’t have a close relationship after he chose to live with his dad when they divorced.”

“But when Connor met this girl, he realised he really wanted to tell his mum. After he told her the good news, she was so happy.

"She’s hoping having a girl in his life will keep him grounded.”

However, Phylicia has allegedly had a “few run-ins with the police” and Connor's parents “aren’t thrilled about” the sexy pictures his girlfriend posts on her social media accounts.

Despite their worries, Nicole and Tom “trust Connor’s judgement” and believe “he has a good head on his shoulders.”
