SYS’ Kaitlyn admits she did show for fame

Kaitlyn Isham certainly made a name for herself on the reality show Seven Year Switch and it looks like she got exactly what she wanted.

The 28-year-old has now admitted that she did not intend to take the show seriously and it was just a chance for her to get “15 minutes of fame”.

In an interview with TV Week Kaitlyn said: “I thought it was going to be fun – that I’d be on national TV and it would be a great experience.”

Kaitlyn also told the publication she did not think her and boyfriend Mark had any problems to worry about.

But when filming started and they were put in front of the cameras, that all changed.

She said: “I thought my relationship didn’t have any problems. But it actually brought up real issues I didn’t want to face.”

In an earlier interview with TV Week, the reality star said: "The outcome [of the show] wasn’t what I wanted, but was the best in the long run."

Could this be a hint that she and Mark have ended things?

The couple met through friends and became drawn to each other despite the stark contrast between Mark’s reserved nature and Kaitlyn’s outgoing, impulsive personality.
