Ariel defends 10-year age gap with boyfriend

Ariel Winter is no stranger to criticism, whether it’s about her risqué photos or clothing choices.

Now the actress has been forced to defend her relationship against the haters.

The star revealed earlier this month that she is living with actor boyfriend Levi Meaden, who is 10 years her senior, after only six months of dating.

Ariel turned 19 in January and Levi is 29, turning 30 this year.

In a recent interview with Refinery29, Ariel defended her relationship saying: “I don’t understand why someone would even comment on our situation at all. There are tons of people of all ages that live with their boyfriend.”

“But, I’m super happy with the arrangement we have. We love living together. It’s just great,” she continued.

The Modern Family actress is very vocal about her relationship on social media, gushing about her beau and posting plenty of PDA-filled snaps.

Ariel also opened up about her struggles with online haters and constant criticism.

“I went through a lot of hate online, so I tried to change myself for a really long time. But people just kept hating on me no matter what I did,” she said.

Earlier this week she was accused of making light of Memorial Day in the USA after she called it “happy” and posted a series of raunchy snaps, especially in one photo where she is pulling down one side of her bikini bottoms.

Ariel is known for being very body positive and sharing her sensational curves with her 3.2 million Instagram followers on a regular basis.
