Chilling audio recording of Harvey Weinstein trying to get model into his room
Another shocking piece of evidence has surfaced in the growing Harvey Weinstein saga.
Harvey Weinstein can be heard aggressively trying to convince French model Ambra Battilana Gutierrez into his hotel room, in a confronting audio recording released on Tuesday.
The recording taken in 2015 – which can be heard above - was part of a sting operation by the New York Police Department, and was released by The New Yorker.
In it, the film producer can be heard asking the model to come into his room, before appearing to admit to previously groping her.
Ambra can be heard saying “I don’t feel comfortable”, before Harvey tries to diffuse the situation.
“Honey, don’t have a fight with me in the hallway, please, I’m not going to do anything I swear on my children. Please come in,” he responds in the recording.
He goes on to say “he’s a famous guy”, but things get even more shocking when the model asks in an uncertain voice “Why yesterday you touch my breast?”.
He continues to almost beg for her to come in, admitting to the groping incident when he says “I’m used to that”.
His voice becomes increasingly agitated as he tries to get her inside “I won’t do it again, come on, sit here.”
As the recording continues, Harvey Weinstein asks Ambra to stay for at least five minutes. “Don’t ruin your friendship with me for five minutes,” he warns her.

Despite having this recording, after two weeks of investigation on the case, The New Yorker reports that the DA decided not to file charges.
It comes as more stars have spoken out about being sexually harassed by the 65-year-old movie mogul.
Gwyneth Paltrow claimed she was harassed at the age of 22 when she was hired to star in Emma. Harvey placed his hands on the blonde beauty's shoulders and suggested they head to the bedroom for massages.
Angelina Jolie has also come forward claiming that Harvey made unwanted sexual advances towards her in his hotel room during the release of Playing by Heart in the late 1900s.
Meanwhile, stars including Meryl Streep and Kate Winslet have condemned the producer's alleged behaviour.
The movie mogul has been accused of sexually harassing a number of female employees for almost three decades.
Harvey has denied claims published by the New York Times newspaper earlier this month that he had harassed at least eight female employees over a 30-year time span and has vowed to take legal action.
However, he has said sorry for causing "pain" to some of his colleagues at times during his career, and admitted he is planning to make amends for his past mistakes.
