Shane Warne and lookalike son match at Melbourne Cup

It was a case of like father like son for Shane Warne on Melbourne Cup day, with the cricketing legend arriving alongside his 18-year-old son Jackson.

And if their physical resemblance to one another wasn’t enough, the pair rocked up at Flemington in almost identical outfits.

Warnie took to Instagram earlier in the day to share a photo of the two of them with the hashtag, ‘father son bonding’.

The duo were dressed in equally suave black suits, skinny ties and shades.

Cricket commentator Shane has plenty of reasons to be proud of his eldest son right now. Jackson has just passed his driver’s test and moved off of his learner plates after finishing his final year of high school last week.

Shane was present at Jackson’s school for the latter occasion and wrote on Instagram: “So proud of my son @jackson_warne18 completing year 12 & doing his best with his exams.

“This pic was his last day of school after 15 years! Good luck Jacko #prouddad”.
