Bullock arrived home around 1 a.m. on June 8 after her night out at Spike TV's Guys' Choice Awards and took a shower, which is disturbing considering Corbett could have been standing nearby at the time.
When she went to bed, she was awakened by "loud bangs" she believed to be coming from her third floor workout room.
"The banging appeared to get louder and sounded like it was coming from her living room this time. She then feared for her safety, closed and locked her door to her bedroom and called 911," reads the chilling description in the warrant, obtained by The Insider With Yahoo.
Bullock's 4-year-old son Louis was not present during the break-in.
When Corbett was taken into custody, he allegedly screamed outside her door, "Sandy, I'm sorry. Please don't press charges." He also carried with him a notebook with cutout magazine images of Bullock and handwritten notes addressed to the actress and Louis.
Corbett, 39, has been charged with possessing an arsenal of heavy weapons authorities say they found at his home. Along with burglary and stalking, the Los Angeles County district attorney's office charged Corbett with 19 felony counts. Corbett pleaded not guilty and bail was set at $2.13 million.
If convicted, he faces up to 12 years in prison.
