In the wacky 3-minute mockumentary, Timberlake plays Rick "Sour" Vane, a lime who reflects on the glory days back when limes cured "pucker face" and were the talk of the town.

"It was like you couldn't drink tequila without one of us," says Timberlake in head-to-toe green paint. "When we walked into the club, it was like everything was in slow motion. Literally. It was like we were rock stars."

So, naturally, there was lots of celebrating to be had.

And dancing.

But the good times ended when JT's tequila, Sauza 901, came around and was so smooth you didn't need to chase it with limes.

Last year, Timberlake sold his alcohol brand 901 (named after his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee) to liquor giant Sauza.

According to Mashable, this is JT's first major effort to let the public know that he is the co-owner (and face) of Sauza 901.

And just in time for Cinco de Mayo.
